Welcome to Casino Hold’em poker. This is a heads up poker games designed for cryptocurrency play on mBit casino by BGaming. The variation of poker player is Texas Hold’em, and you will be pitching your skills up against the house.
Essentially this is Texas Hold’em on hyperdrive as the game is played much quicker than traditional games of Hold’em, although the same sequence of cards are played out.
Players have a decent chance of winning because of the restrictions on the dealer’s hand. You can play with any hand, but the dealer must produce a hand that is a pair of 4s or higher. The odds of making a pair in Texas Hold’em are 32.43% on the flop, and those odds are reduced because the dealer cannot hit a pair of 2s or 3s and qualify.
However, there will be 5 cards dealt in this game and it is the final 5 cards that count. The odds of hitting a pair after the flop are 12% on the turn and 12% on the river. In the end, the house edge in this game is around 1% if you play your card right, so you are looking at an RTP of 99%.
Betting is straightforward. Your denominators are at the center of the bottom of the screen. Click on the ‘Ante’ circle then your denominator to place your bet to play. If you want to also take a shot at the ‘AA Bonus’, then follow the same sequence as you would with the ‘Ante’ bet.
Once you are set, click on the ‘Deal’ option to the right-hand side of the screen. You will be given 2 face-up cars, the flop will be immediately dealt (so no pre-flop betting involved), and the dealer will be dealt 2 face-down cards, which will remain that way until the showdown.
If you don’t like the look of your hand, then simply click ‘Fold’ and start betting again. If you would like to continue, then click on the ‘Raise’ button. An amount double to your ante will be placed in the ‘Raise’ circle’. Next, the turn card and the river card will be placed in the table. Now all 5 cards have been dealt, the showdown will commence.
If the dealer's hand wins, then all bets are lost. However, if your hand beats the dealer’s hand, then your ante bet will be paid back at even odds 1 to 1.
If the dealer does not qualify, you still win the even odds bet on your ante, but your raise will be pushed, so you get your money back for this bet. On the other hand, if the dealer’s hand does qualify, and you have the better 5 card hand, then both your ante bet and your raise bets are paid back at even odds.
You can win more than even odds on only you ‘Ante’ bet if you make a hand that is a flush or higher. Your raise bet will always be paid back at even odds no matter the outcome.
1. Flush – 2 to 1
2. Full House – 3 to 1
3. 4 of a kind – 10 to 1
4. Straight Flush – 20 to 1
5. Royal Flush – 100 to 1
The probability of hitting a straight flush is 0.000154%, but despite the very short odds, there have been quite a few people at mBit that have managed to hit the crème de la crème of all poker hands at this table.
Now, this is a pretty nice side bet because it counts your first 2 hole cards and the 3 flop cards in the bet. Therefore, you just need to hit a pair of Aces on the flop out of the 5 cards on the table to win the bet. There is a 22% chance of hitting a pair of aces on the flop, so the house does have an edge here, so be wise when making this bet. Maybe once in every 5 to 10 hands take a chance with it because aces are bound to come up at some point.
